Hi there. Sorry for the looooong wait I made you have. As you see I have had quite a year, but before going into that I might as well explain some things.

The late months of '06 where the scenario of me being plainly wacky about going to a Disney internship that would take place from January 17, 2008 to August 10, 2008. I as well had to make sure I didn't left things undone. January arrived and so the date of my departure. It was hard on me to leave because I knew I would be by myself in Florida for a long time. My main reasons to go there was to go have fun, get some money, and see the events related to the third installment of Pirates of the Caribbean 3, "At World's End" along with my boyfriend. Sadly due to things... he wasn't able to go with me, he encouraged me to go though, because he knew I love PotC.

I left at 2am from Aguadilla's airport, did my best not to cry in front of my family and boyfriend and then sat on the airplane, got some bad tasting coffee and saw "Bandidas" while trying to drink it, lol.
I got to Orlando, Fl in like 3 hours because there was bad weather and had to wait over 3 hours more for a van to pick me up to take me to Vista Way.

While in there I was freezing to death *not used to such weather, was like at the 40's degrees* I did the paperwork and delivered my bags and baggage to the Disney staff to check. Like an hour later I found myself standing in front of the baggage pick up waiting for my stuff. I had been assigned to work as an Operator in Blizzard Beach.

Oh my with that cold... the rain forecasts... then getting wet... that was going to be interesting. One bag is missing. Oh my... my electronics and entertainment bag! I had in there my laptop, my PsP, my Nintento Ds, my 500gb external hard drive filled with anime for very lonely and bored days, some drawing portfolios, my coloring pencils... They told me to go to my apartment, get settled then they would call me and tell me that they had found the bag. heheh they better do I told myself. XD

Sadly I had to keep on with doing the stuff they demanded me to, like getting settled, meeting new people and my fellow members, getting to know the place better, getting to conferences... well I did those, but believe me, I didn't stopped thinking about that bag or my boyfriend-to-be-husband in all that time. Like 6 hours later they call me to go to Vista Way and pick it up because they had found it there. So as quickly as I could I ran to the bus that would take me there the soonest from Chatham Square where I had to live. Pretty nice place by the way, very different from Puerto Rican homes.

I had to take a bus that would make a stop first at Animal Kingdom then some other Disney locations before taking me to the water park. It was like a 50 minutes ride or so. I usually had to get up very early *like at 6am* so that I could have a quick breakfast then run to the bus stop. The problem was to wait for the bus which ironically kind of never made it in time as stated in the schedule lol. It would get terribly cold in the early mornings, I could barely feel my fingers, they would usually get very pinkish. The problem with the bus was that if I didn't took it at that time and waited for the other one coming later, I wouldn't have a place to sit. I would be forced to stand in my middle while trying to hold some things from the ceiling to keep myself from falling. Yes said 'trying' 'cause I am very short and well yes... I found myself in tip toes many times to make it there. ^^;;

The very first days of work would consist of safety learning and how to manage yourself properly around the water park attractions. Thanksfully I managed to learn what to do in all attractions very quickly, but I won't deny that somethings pissed me off about them. First... it would rain almost everyday sometimes making the park close early so that means to good weekly payment... then we would have to get from point A to very far away point B in less than 5 minutes. Dear lord... climbing all those stairs to get to the very top slides would really drain me out.

Besides that everything was doing pretty fine, till well... I began feeling very strange. I would get dizzy and would feel like trowing up every time...
